By now you’ve probably heard that Sweden has just announced its newest rules on clothing and fashion, and they’re a little bit shocking.
The new guidelines include the following stipulations:Swedish laws ban wearing “burqa” (face covering) and “burkini” (a swimsuit that covers the body except for the eyes).
Sweden is one of the most liberal countries in the world when it comes to fashion.
The country has banned burqas and burkinis since the late 1990s.
It’s also banned “full-face coverings” and “full body tattoos,” and has recently been cracking down on burqinis and full-face veils.
In addition, there’s a ban on “face masks” that are similar to “face covers,” and any clothing that doesn’t meet those guidelines is considered “unacceptable” by the government.
For many of us, it’s been a year of struggle, and now we’re back to work.
But as we discussed in the past, there are plenty of reasons to dress like you know who and where you are.
If you want to stay in style, this is the right place to start.
